This project is a 5-story medical office building totaling approximately 162,000 square feet. The building is located on the campus of Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) in downtown Orlando, Florida. ORMC is a 581-bed hospital that specializes in trauma, critical care, emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics and neurosciences. It is one of Florida's six major teaching hospitals and the corporation's flagship medical center. The structure includes a basement level, a design based on progressive collapse, and a rigid-frame lateral system that saved the cost of constructing concrete shear walls.
